  • Access youth driven skits to deepen understanding on respect and how to develop respectful dialogue

  • Deepen community insights on respect through tailored discussion questions based on each skit

  • Understand how respect in internalized in different cultural contexts

Questions we are exploring in this project

  • In what ways can theater be used to facilitate dialogue on issues regarding respect?

  • How can we create communities where respect is more deeply understood between all people?

  • How do perceptions of respect differ cross-culturally?

Achievements so far

  • Community Based Research

We interviewed peers in identifying situations where they felt disrespected

  • Created Youth Informed Skits on Respect

Based on the community research we created small skits to be used at schools to facilitate great discussion on respect

  • Discussion Question Series

For each skit developed, we have created a set of accompanying discussion questions to be used to facilitate greater understanding on how to build respectful communities
